Volunteer Opportunity:

Connecting Local Associations with Google Partnerships

Location: Banaue, Sagada, Bontoc, and Lagawe

Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated volunteer to help connect local associations in Banaue, Sagada, Bontoc, and Lagawe with Google’s partnership initiatives. This role involves coordinating with municipalities, town halls, and using social media platforms such as Facebook to establish direct connections between local associations and the director of the partnership between the Philippines and Google.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reach out to local municipalities and town halls in Banaue, Sagada, Bantok, and Lagawe.
• Use Facebook and other communication tools to contact and engage with local associations.
• Coordinate meetings and facilitate communication between local associations and the director of the partnership between the Philippines and Google.
• Assist in organizing and preparing necessary documentation for partnership proposals.
• Provide ongoing support and follow-up to ensure smooth communication and successful funding opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using social media platforms, particularly Facebook.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Passion for community development and supporting local initiatives.
• Knowledge of local languages and cultures in Banaue, Sagada, Bontoc, and Lagawe is a plus.
